Post 7: Project 2

This little repair bot will go and repair the broken down big walker robot from my project 1.
It can open up its mouth and reveal a repair beam. The drums on the sides launch grappling hooks to facilitate repairs. Its feet are suction cups to help with repairing at any angle.
The wide slit underneath the helmet will have LED displays for eyes. I'll probably make multiple meshes with different textures to change into when it is required.
The following is the character design, action, and emotion sheet. Since it is a robot with only eyes, so there is a limited amount of emotion.

My model of the first project will be reused for the most part as part of the set.
I will retexture it and modify some parts of the model to make it look damaged.
The new model/character i'll use will be a small little repair robot that will climb up to the damaged robot to try to fix it.

Post 3.2: Texture render

Here is a final render of my walker.
Any idea of how to implement toon shading? I just want to play around with it.

Post 4: Sketches and idea

 Scratched Paint

Main Characters: The Captain and March the A.I.
Supporting Character: The General

Story: The Captain is piloting a damage starship to a carrier. It couldn't land properly and crashed into the hanger bay scratching some paint. Nobody got hurt and they cerebrate.
The A.I. is mad the scratched paint from the crash and he holds a grudge and hilarity ensue through malfunctions and out of control robots.
By the end the Generals settled the problem by having the Captain repaint the hull of her ship.
 The Cyber Kitty

Main Character: The Cyber Kitty
Supporting Character: Security Dog

A hacker is hacking into a bank. The kitty is the representation of her hacking. The kitty jump over a firewall and starts to chew up wires and such. A security software represented by a dog is trying to stop her. The kitty uses her adorableness to sway the guard dog to join her. They run together to a vault with lots of money.

Post 3.1: Textured with bumpmapping

Texturing is done for the most part. After I rigged and/or animated, I might go back in to give the texture a bit of details such as bolt/rivets, decals and texts, even some scratches. However, this all depend on how much time I have.

Post 3.0 Prototype Texture

The smoothed geometry isn't playing well with my test texture. I'll need to increase the polygon details, then use the UV from that to make the texture. Hopefully, they'll be nice to each other.
